Budding Kenyan rapper GithinG is making waves with his latest track, Uko Na Ngapi, a hustle-inspired anthem that draws on the iconic hip-hop phrase "C.R.E.A.M." to explore the significance of money.

Known for his creative experimentation with sound, GithinG pushes boundaries by increasing the beats per second (BPS) in his recent tracks like "Uko Na Ngapi" and "Tumefika."

Despite the fast tempo, he prioritizes clarity to ensure his message resonates with listeners.

As a rising artist, GithinG shares the challenges he faces, such as the reluctance of some organizers to pay for gigs under the guise of providing "exposure" and the lack of proper preparation for performances, which often leads to issues like poor sound systems or lineup confusion.

He emphasizes the importance of embracing Swahili in hip-hop, highlighting how it gives Kenyan and African rappers a unique advantage with distinctive flows and cadences.

Looking ahead, GithinG reveals he’s working on a collaborative tape titled Bando Boys with fellow Southside artiste 15teen, promising fans even more boundary-pushing music.
