Mary Biketi, the youngest wife of CS Wycliffe Oparanya, made a bold statement in Trans Nzoia County yesterday, turning heads with a majestic convoy and a bold political gesture.

Arriving atop a sleek 4x4 SUV, she waved to crowds from the vehicle’s sunroof she seemed to be enjoying her newly found fame.

She was flanked by a branded entourage and heightened security, in what many are speculating is a strategic move toward a political bid, possibly for the Woman Representative seat.

Biketi, who has been in the spotlight since last year when leaked photos confirmed her relationship with Oparanya, has embraced her public persona with confidence.

Recently, she clarified their marriage and revealed her proactive approach to guarding her husband’s DMs from ‘thirsty’ women.

Her latest Trans Nzoia visit, under the banner of the Mary Biketi Foundation, was billed as a philanthropic mission but carried all the hallmarks of a political rally, fueling online talk about her motives.

The glamorous convoy, led by boda boda riders donning green reflector jackets emblazoned with her foundation’s logo, rolled into Trans Nzoia with flair.

She would later address attendees and small business owners, although details remain scanty on what exactly was going on.

“Thank you, Trans Nzoia county,” featured a video of her waving to supporters, further amplifying the buzz.

In a statement, Biketi highlighted her visit’s purpose: “Visited Agape Rescue Centre in line with my foundation policy of supporting the needy and less privileged in the society. This is among the many noble activities we are engaging with as a foundation in Trans Nzoia County.”

She also announced the Mr. and Miss Mary Biketi Foundation pageant, happened today and, “As a foundation we are committed in making sure that We achieve our targeted goals,” she said.

Although her team tried to make it look like it was purely a philanthropic gesture, critics read more mischief.

The optics of her entrance says it all, complete with branded merchandise, a security detail, and a convoy rivaling those of seasoned politicians.
