Popular content creator 2Mbili has stepped forward to give an encouraging update on embattled car dealer Khalif Kairo, revealing that the entrepreneur is in good spirits and expected to be released from remand as early as Tuesday.
In a heartfelt video shared to his Instagram, 2Mbili—who has hosted Kairo multiple times on his YouTube channel—addressed the growing concern surrounding his friend’s wellbeing, saying he’s been inundated with messages and calls from fans and supporters seeking clarity.
“In regards to Khalif Kairo, I have been receiving so many messages and calls on my line, concerning the life of Khalif Kairo,” he posted on his Instagram.

The update comes after days of speculation and online chatter about Kairo's wellbeing. Addressing the rumors, 2Mbili reassured everyone:
“So guys just to let you know, khalif Kairo is doing well and I visited him last evening and he is doing well, we had a talk for an hour. He is happy for the support that you guys are giving him, the visits. he appreciated. He is well taken off. I have seen some people talk bad about him, about what is being done to him, but to the contrary he is okay. I even had a chat with a few officers there and they said he is safe,” he shared.
Kairo, a well-known figure in the car dealing space, has made several appearances on 2Mbili’s YouTube channel. Since news broke of his legal troubles, the creator has rallied fellow car enthusiasts and fans to help raise funds for his release. A goal of Sh2 million was set and according to 2Mbili, it’s already been met.
“So he assured me that he will be out before on before or on Tuesday. He also confirmed that he is still receiving money being fundraised. The required figure has been reached and he would have been out already, its only that there is procedure for someone to be released on bond that has delayed. He will be out, the process is almost done,” he added.
Despite his time behind bars, Kairo has reportedly been working to resolve disputes with disgruntled clients. According to 2Mbili, Kairo made it clear he’s been making amends and remains fully committed to sorting out all issues.
“He also confirmed to me that he is done with sorting his aggrieved clients, while he is still in remand. He gave me permission to let you all know, from friends to family who can’t access him, he is fine mentally, physically and spiritually. Thanks you so much guys and let’s keep on praying for him and standing with him,” he concluded.
