Patblack: Kenyan rapper earns recognition from Jadakiss, The Game, Bobby Shmurda

US-based Kenyan rapper Patblack is making waves in the hip-hop world, steadily carving out an undeniable presence with endorsements from some of the genre’s biggest names across the United States.

The latest co-sign comes from East Coast legend Jadakiss, a member of the iconic rap group The Lox.

Known for his timeless verses on hits like Ja Rule’s “New York.” Jadakiss recently liked and commented on Patblack’s Instagram post and even followed him.

“This is surreal. Jadakiss shaped hip-hop’s grit; to have his respect means everything,” Patblack shared.

Jadakiss isn’t the only heavyweight to recognise Patblack’s talent.

The Kenyan rapper has also earned praise from West Coast icon The Game, Bronx mogul Fat Joe, Brooklyn drill pioneer Bobby Shmurda, and Atlanta’s hitmaking producer Zaytoven.

The Game’s public endorsement, in particular, proved to be a turning point for Patblack. “He told me to keep grinding. That validation meant everything,” patblack shared.

Known for viral tracks like the drill-infused Ting Go Boom and the melodic Afrobeat-inspired Soul Bleed, he attributes his music style to his dual heritage.

“US hip-hop’s rawness meets Kenya’s soulful rhythms, I’m just bringing both worlds together,” he said.

This cross-cultural fusion has resonated widely, earning him a unique spot in the global hip-hop scene.

With these co-signs fueling his rise, Patblack is already looking ahead, planning a summer tour in Kenya where he has several exciting projects lined up.
