Popular content creator Nasra has dramatically stepped down from her vice-chairperson role at the newly-formed Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya (DCCAK), and the internet is buzzing with questions.

But there is absolutely no bad blood between the former colleagues, according to Director Trevor, the association's CEO.

Taking to Instagram Director Trevor celebrated Nasra's contributions, despite her brief stint at the organisation.

"We wish you great success in your next chapter," Trevor wrote. "Always remember, this will always be your home, and we will forever hold you in the highest regard for being a pioneer of this great association. Your contributions will never be forgotten."

But what really has fans talking is Nasra's explanation for her departure.

"This has not been an easy decision, but it was one I made after deep personal reflection," she shared. "Sometimes, alignment and conviction are more important than titles and positions."

In an industry where many creators would cling to prestigious positions regardless of personal cost, she chose a different path.

"I believe in serving from a place of peace, purpose and authenticity," she continued, "and right now stepping back feels like the most honest thing to do."

Despite the departure, Nasra made sure to acknowledge the support she received during her brief tenure. She promised to continue advocating for creatives "in other meaningful ways."

"I'm grateful for the support many of you showed me during my appointment. That encouragement never went unnoticed, and I carry it with me as I continue to advocate for creatives," she added.
