Kenya’s Second Lady, Dr. Joyce Kindiki, turned heads with her elegant fashion choice during a recent visit to Daystar University.

Stepping out in a striking green dress adorned with rhinestones and dazzling ornaments, she exuded confidence and grace, winning the admiration of netizens.

The two-piece outfit featured a puffy three-quarter sleeves and a round neckline and embellishments radiating from the waistline and beaded detailing at the waist and neckline.

Joyce was at the institution to officiate the launch of the Science Adding Value to Environment and Communities (SAVEC) program, an initiative aimed at promoting STEM education for sustainable development.

While her presence underscored the importance of environmental conservation, it was her impeccable sense of style that stole the spotlight.

Her latest appearance marked a stark contrast to her previous outfit at KICC, where she donned a two-piece suit and a black wig, an outfit which sparked mixed reactions online.

Some netizens had criticised the look as outdated, with one Facebook user bluntly commenting, “Sijapenda hiyo nguo kabisa na style ya nywele.”

However, this time around, the Second Lady's fashion-forward choice was met with widespread praise.

Many Kenyans flooded social media to compliment her, with one Facebook user writing, “You look beautiful from the outside and inside, Madam. Kenya is blessed to have you. Sharing such academic insights with kids is invaluable, keep inspiring them!”

Beyond fashion, Dr. Kindiki remains deeply committed to mentoring the youth, particularly in STEM subjects.

Expressing her passion on Facebook, she wrote, “I am deeply passionate about mentoring young minds to embrace science and mathematics as powerful tools for environmental conservation and sustainable development.”

She emphasised the need to nurture young learners, stating, “Our future depends on innovative solutions, and it is inspiring to see young students eager to explore the role of science in addressing climate change, pollution, and resource management.”
