Former Shujaa captain Andrew Amonde earns World Rugby Level 2 coaching licence

Former Kenya Sevens captain and KCB Rugby Club head coach Andrew Amonde has reached another significant milestone in his coaching career after successfully obtaining the World Rugby Level 2 15s Coaching Accreditation.

The achievement adds to Amonde's growing list of coaching qualifications as he continues to establish himself among Kenya's leading rugby coaches following an accomplished playing career.

Currently serving as KCB Rugby Club's head coach and the Kenya Sevens strength and conditioning coach, Amonde has remained actively involved in shaping the country's rugby landscape. During his playing days, he captained Shujaa on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series circuit and represented Kenya at the Olympic Games, earning recognition as one of the country's most influential rugby figures.

The accreditation is regarded as an important step for coaches seeking to improve their expertise and lead competitive teams more effectively in elite rugby environments.

For Amonde, the latest qualification further strengthens his credentials as he continues to oversee KCB Rugby Club while playing a key role in developing players within Kenya's rugby structures.

His dual responsibilities at club and national team level have seen him contribute to both player development and performance improvement.
