Andrew Kibe has asked his followers to stop treating his frequent and fiery social media posts as serious advice.
In a widely shared video, the media personality said much of what he posts is intended for entertainment and comedy, not as guidance for everyday life.
Kibe reminded fans, "Don't believe anything you see, don't believe anything you hear as long as it's on the internet."
He added that many of his bold statements are part of a comedic persona designed to provoke reactions.
"This is all for entertainment purposes. This is a comedy show," he said.
He also joked about his motivations, saying he enjoys watching people laugh at his "stupidity" before going to sleep, even though he wakes up to personal challenges, including issues involving his "baby mamas."
Kibe is widely known for his controversial views on relationships, masculinity and social issues.
Over the years, some of his remarks, including advising men to avoid single mothers and making provocative comments about fellow celebrities, have attracted both support and criticism.
His latest remarks drew mixed reactions online.
While some users welcomed his admission that his content is created for entertainment, others questioned whether the clarification came too late, arguing that his posts have already influenced many people.
One user, Martin Morris Mbogo, recounted, "I once shared a flight with him from Diani. We were seated next to each other and he was full of endless funny stories. I can tell you he is the complete opposite of the Kibe we see on our screens."
Another user, Rami'rez Nelly, commented, "It's either ameoa ama ako in love. He's about to break one of the many rules he's set. Something must k*ll a man."
