A man caused commotion after allegedly stealing a police vehicle and making off with it before being caught.
In a viral, undated video, the man is seen pinned to the ground by several officers, his forehead bandaged, as he loudly protests to onlookers.
"Nilipigwa na askari, nikaenda siku tatu polisi..angalieni? Sikuandikiwa, angalieni?" he shouted, accusing police of assault and unlawful detention.
When questioned on why he decided to take the vehicle, his response amused many online: "Ni ya Kenya! Na iko na insurance na ninalipa ushuru. Angalieni mtu analipa ushuru," he argued, before switching to Kikuyu to beckon members of the crowd to come to his aid.

The video has since sparked debate, with many marveling at his courage as others called him out.
Police are yet to issue an official statement on the incident, whose location remains unclear.
The episode comes against a backdrop of heightened scrutiny of police conduct.
Just days ago, the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) took up the case of Simon Warui, who was found dead under unclear circumstances while in custody at Central Police Station, Mombasa.
LSK President Faith Adhiambo said the society is working with civil society groups and the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) to push for accountability.
"We have appointed an Advocate to act on behalf of the family in monitoring the investigations and ensuring that the full truth and circumstances leading to Warui's death are uncovered, and the persons involved are held to account," she stated.
A post-mortem revealed Warui had neck fractures, oxygen deprivation, and other injuries, including a broken hand.
