TikToker Gee Gee dies after collapsing following night out, fans mourn online

Tiktoker Gloria Mwotei, known online as Gee Gee, has died after suddenly collapsing following a night out, and Kenya’s online community is mourning.

According to a TikTok Live that quickly spread, Gee Gee, reportedly fell ill the night she was out, and was rushed to a small clinic near the club. Clinic staff found her pulse dangerously weak and told those with her to take her to a referral hospital.

She was moved from the clinic to the referral facility, but doctors there said she had died sometime between leaving the clinic and arriving at the hospital. 

A TikToker using the handle @Goddess Khalai gave these details during the live session. She also said the group had managed to contact Gee Gee’s family to tell them what happened. The family is now making arrangements and will announce the next steps.
