Comedian and digital influencer Terrence Creative has issued a blistering public outcry against a group of budding TikTokers, accusing them of hiding behind "content creation" to harass and disrespect women on the streets of Nairobi.
Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday morning, the creator of the viral "Wash Wash" series expressed his disgust at a trending video showing young men; reported to be TikTokers from the Eastleigh neighborhood, intimidating and mocking unsuspecting female passers-by for digital clout.
"Hii ni matharau sasa (This is now contempt)," Terrence wrote, his frustration evident. "This is not content; this is harassment and disrespect to the girl child. We can do more respectful content for views and traction."
The comedian, who has long been a pillar of Kenya’s digital entertainment scene, argued that the quest for "viral" moments has taken a dark turn, crossing the line from entertainment into criminal behavior.
He expressed deep concern over the lack of accountability, noting that it was "sad" that none of the perpetrators had been arraigned in court despite the video evidence circulating online.
In a bold move to ensure the authorities take notice, Terrence went as far as providing a "digital map" for the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). He pinpointed the exact location where the group reportedly operates, citing Muthithi Road in Eastleigh, specifically the stretch opposite Pumwani Maternity and adjacent to Eastleigh High School, just a few meters from BBs Mall.

The incident has reignited a heated debate within the Kenyan online space regarding the ethics of "prank" culture.
