Roc Nation and hip-hop icon Jay Z have announced two anniversary concerts in Paris and Los Angeles, extending his ongoing live comeback.

The announcement follows Jay-Z’s recent return to the stage at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, where a surprise a cappella freestyle drew widespread attention across the music industry.

He is scheduled to perform at Stade de France in Paris on Thursday, September 10, before heading to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday, October 23.

The Los Angeles date will mark his first performance in the city since his 4:44 Tour in 2017.

The shows are being positioned as a celebration of his catalogue, with a focus on two landmark albums, Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint. In a statement shared on social media, they were described as “two historic nights to celebrate Jay-Z’s iconic albums.”

The announcement comes as anticipation builds for his already sold-out three-night run at Yankee Stadium on July 10–12.

The first night is expected to highlight Reasonable Doubt on its 30th anniversary, while the second will focus on The Blueprint, which turns 25 this year.

Details for the third night have not yet been revealed, prompting speculation over a combined set or career-spanning performance.

Jay-Z’s appearance at the Roots Picnic in late May also renewed attention on his live performances after the freestyle circulated widely online, reinforcing his continued influence in hip-hop more than two decades into his career.

The 56-year-old rapper, born Shawn Corey Carter, has remained selectively active in recent years, with each performance drawing significant interest from fans across generations.
