Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has shared a proud family moment after her son, Daniel Oduwole, graduated from Hult International Business School in London, UK.
On Monday, Ndeti took to her social media pages to celebrate her son's achievement, posting a heartfelt tribute.
"Congratulations, my dear son Daniel, on your graduation! I'm so proud of you, not only for this achievement but also for the hard work, discipline, and determination that brought you here," part of her message read.

The governor also remembered her late husband in her post, writing: "I know your dad is smiling down from heaven, proud of the man you're becoming. Keep soaring higher, this is just the beginning of an extraordinary journey of success."
Kenyans online quickly joined in congratulating the young graduate.
One X user wrote: "I might have an issue with you politically, but on your life and people around you - congratulations to him." Another commented: "Congratulations to Daniel, may the Almighty God bless him and keep him safe."
Others, however, took the opportunity to question leaders' choices to educate their children abroad, with one user pointing out: "It is disheartening that many of our leaders lack confidence in the very education system they oversee... that is why rural schools remain underfunded with poor infrastructure."
This is not the first time Ndeti has openly celebrated her children.
During a past birthday, she praised her son Charles Oduwole with another emotional note: "You have grown up to be a strong, caring, and kind-hearted young man. May peace be upon you as you keep doing the Lord's work."
