Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx has ended his nearly two-year relationship with fitness model Alyce Huckstepp.

The breakup marks the end of a relationship that began publicly in 2022.

Foxx, 57, and Huckstepp were first spotted together in May 2022 during a romantic getaway in Cannes, France. Their relationship was officially confirmed in August 2023, but they had largely kept their romance low-key.

Their last public appearance together was at a significant family event as Foxx’s daughter Corinne was getting married in September 2023, where the actor walked his eldest child down the aisle.

Though the couple seemed happy at the time, insiders say the relationship recently ran its course.

Foxx has remained tight-lipped about the reasons behind the split but appeared to hint at changes in his personal life during his Netflix comedy special, What Had Happened Was.

In the special, which aired on December 10, 2023, Foxx jokingly addressed his future dating prospects.

While performing at the piano, he humorously remarked, “Sisters, I’ve been cured. No more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls,” adding, “No more potato salad and raisins. No more spray tan.”

The remarks, while playful, gave a rare glimpse into the actor’s evolving perspective post-breakup.

The break up comes after a challenging year for Foxx, who revealed in 2023 that he suffered a stroke caused by a brain bleed.

In April 2023, while working on the film Back in Action in Atlanta, Jamie Foxx suffered a sudden health crisis after experiencing a severe headache and losing consciousness.

Despite initially receiving a cortisone injection, his condition deteriorated. His sister rushed him to hospital, where medical professionals discovered a brain bleed that had caused a stroke. The incident left Foxx in a coma for 20 days and resulted in significant memory loss.

Throughout his recovery, Foxx relied on his sense of humour to cope with the ordeal. In one instance, he even pretended to be actor Denzel Washington for three days, leaving those around him bewildered.

During his rehabilitation in Chicago, he worked hard to relearn basic functions such as walking.

By January 2024, Foxx had returned to the set of Back in Action, using stunt doubles to handle physically demanding scenes as he continued to regain his strength.
