City politician and businesswoman Millicent Omanga has set political tongues wagging after she was spotted sharing rare cosy moments with former Deputy President and now DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua.
Photos that have since gone viral show the two, usually aligned to opposing political camps, engaging in close interaction, light banter and occasional laughter, leaving many reading between the lines.
The unexpected meet-up happened during the traditional dowry presentation ceremony (ruracio) for Aloise Kinyanjui, held in Kiganjo, Gatundu South Constituency, Kiambu County.
In one of the videos seen by TNX Africa, Omanga, elegantly dressed in a patterned African outfit, is seen approaching a table where Gachagua was seated alongside several leaders.
She is first welcomed by Kajiado North MP Onesmus Ngogoyo before warmly greeting Gachagua, who was clad in a Kikuyu-themed ensemble and walking stick in hand.
In separate photos, Omanga is later seen seated at the same table with Gachagua, the two appearing deep in conversation alongside Ngogoyo.

Taking to her social media pages after the event, Omanga shared photos from the colourful ceremony.
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing. A colourful ruracio for Ann & Aloice, graciously shared with H.E Rigathi as love, culture and blessings unite,” she captioned.
The post quickly drew massive engagement, racking up more than 2,000 likes on Facebook in under an hour.
The appearance comes barely days after Omanga stirred speculation with cryptic political posts on her Facebook page.
On February 6, 2026, she posed a teasing question to her followers, “Ati mnauliza chama ni gani?”
The following day, she doubled down with another ambiguous post, "Waambie wajipange vizuri… round hii ni Mbayaaaaa!” a statement that once again sent her 1.4 million followers into a frenzy.

With her latest online streak now coupled with the cosy photos alongside Gachagua, netizens were quick to connect the dots, many interpreting the moves as a possible political dalliance.
“Baaas. Now the party question is answered,” Sam Nzuki commented.
“DCP it is!” added Peter The Don.
What happens in the coming days remains to be watched, even as different political camps realign ahead of the 2027 polls.
Omanga is poised to gun for Passaris' seat, in a race which will also field Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu.
Popularly known as “Mama Miradi,” Omanga served as a Nominated Senator from 2017 to 2022.
Beyond politics, she remains a high-profile social media personality, frequently making headlines for her bold, sometimes unapologetic photos and videos.
