Arrow Bwoy hurls egg at Shakib Cham during heated pre-fight weigh-in

Tensions flared at the official weigh-in ahead of the highly anticipate boxing match between Kenyan Singer Arrow Bwoy and businessman Shakib Cham, when Arrow unexpectedly threw an egg at him. 

Videos that circulated online captured a heated scene as both camps faced off during the pre-fight formalities, and the egg throwing quickly became the most talked-about moment from the event.

Neither fighter’s team released any statement immediately after the incident, but social media erupted with reactions and predictions, many of them backing Shakib.

Commenters praised Shakib’s calm response at the weigh-in, suggesting his composure could give him an edge when the two meet in the ring.

Celebrities and influencers also weighed in. Singer Otile Brown reacted with a laughing emoji, and content creator 2mbili questioned the source of the tension with a viral comment. 

Other online voices mixed humor with incredulity at the choice of projectile. Some users expressed discomfort with the theatrics, while others treated it as typical pre-fight mind games meant to hype the match.

The two are currently reported to have split from their significant others, this was after Nadia Mukami announced her split from Arrow Bwoy last month, citing irreconcible difference and being emotionally drained.

Zari would come online aswell and announced split from Shakib Cham, last week. But when Shakib was asked about the break up, his response, confused many, “I’m married, I’m emotionally okay, and I’m handling everything like a grown man.”

The boxing match is taking place at the Sarit Expo Centre in Westlands featuring perfomances from artists including Nigeria's Ruger and Kenya's Khaligraph Jones.
