Harmonize blasts Kajala mid-concert, accuses her of disrespecting him over age gap

Tanzanian singer Harmonize has publicly criticised his ex-girlfriend, actress Frida Kajala, during a live performance in Tabata, Dar es Salaam.

Addressing the crowd, Harmonize claimed Kajala had disrespected him because he is younger than her. He said she looked down on him despite the love and respect he showed her throughout their relationship.

"Kajala hana adabu, ananidharau kwa sababu mimi ni mdogo kwake. Huniheshimu."

The statement translates to: "Kajala has no manners. She disrespects me because I am younger than her. She doesn't respect me."

The pair's relationship has been marked by repeated breakups and reconciliations over the years.

At one point, Harmonize even proposed to the 44-year-old actress, who is the mother of actress Paula Kajala.

Their romance appeared to have stabilised until late last month, when Kajala sparked speculation by sharing a cryptic social media post about infidelity.

The post read, "A cheating man want peace, loyalty and forgiveness from the same woman he broke. Make it make sense."

Fans quickly flooded the comments with speculation, with many linking the message to Harmonize and debating whether it reflected her personal life or was simply a general observation.

Harmonize's love life has often attracted as much attention as his music career, with several high-profile relationships, an international marriage, and multiple reconciliations making headlines.

Although their age difference has frequently been discussed online, neither had spoken so openly about it until Tuesday's concert, when Harmonize publicly accused Kajala of disrespecting him because of his age.

Since then, online speculation has suggested the two are no longer together, with rumours also claiming Harmonize has moved on with another woman. However, neither has publicly confirmed the status of their relationship.
