RIKE opposed KECOBO's directive transferring KAMP's licensing functions to the Performing and Audio-Visual Rights Society of Kenya (PAVRISK) during the suspension.
KAMP said it was "dismayed and deeply concerned" by the decision, arguing that the suspension came despite ongoing engagement with the regulator.
