Hawa said she had been enticed into the fraudulent business by a friend who subsequently gave her Sh20,000 out of the entire deal and then used her mobile phone to deceive the businessman.
According to court particulars, Theuri is said to have stolen the pig worth Sh 50,000 at Donholm village in Lungalunga, Makadara Sub-County.
Njoroge admitted the charge but was remanded in custody pending facts reading and sentencing.
