Jamaican-American reggae star Chuck Fenda has cancelled his scheduled June 20 performance in Nairobi, citing the promoter's alleged failure to fulfil contractual obligations.
In a Facebook statement announcing the cancellation, the artiste, popularly known as The Living Fire, apologised to Kenyan fans for the development.
"To my fans in Kenya: Unfortunately, I will no longer be performing in Nairobi on June 20, 2026. This decision was made due to circumstances beyond my control after contractual obligations were not fulfilled by the promoter. My sincere apologies to everyone who planned to attend. Kenya, I look forward to seeing you soon," he wrote.
Chuck Fenda had been scheduled to headline the Good Vibes Festival in Nairobi on June 20 alongside Kivuli Band and other performers.
His cancellation now leaves fans awaiting another opportunity to see the reggae star perform in Kenya.
