MP Millie Odhiambo celebrates husband's 60th birthday with love song

Suba North Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo gave guests a glimpse of her romantic side when she serenaded her husband, Magugu Mabona, during the celebration of his 60th birthday.

“So yesterday was the birthday of my hubby. I decided to be romantic and sing him a song, my family members are not kind, they laugh at you even though I had told them to focus on the words and not the sound,” she joked on social media.

Millie and Mabona's love story has long fascinated many Kenyans. The legislator is married to Zimbabwean-born Magugu Mabona, whom she met online before their relationship blossomed into marriage. The couple tied the knot on February 14, 2006, in a unique Valentine's Day wedding ceremony held aboard a ferry on Lake Victoria in Kisumu, a location that held deep personal significance for Millie as it was near where her father died.

As Mabona marked his 60th birthday, Millie accompanied the celebration with a heartfelt message, once again demonstrating the strong bond and enduring love that has defined their marriage over the years.
