Babu Owino offers online Mathematics classes for 2025 KCSE candidates

Babu Owino to offer online Mathematics classes for KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) 2025 candidates.

Embakasi East Constituency M.P advertised this task on his Facebook page urging candidates to tune in on Saturday and Sunday.

“This Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m., I will be revising Mathematics Papers 1 and 2 with the KCSE candidates 2025.Parents should give their children phones and bundles to watch these life changing lessons. Stay tuned on my Facebook page @BabuOwino,” he wrote.

This is not the first time the legislator has announced the return of the online revision lessons for candidates.

Back in 2022, he streamed lessons on his social media platforms taking the KCSE students at the time through a Mathematics class. According to the writings on the board, he was covering a topic on whole numbers and fractions.

The Embakasi East MP began his quest when COVID-19 hit the country and the world in 2020, as every activity required maximum social distancing, students had to study online from home.

Through teaching the lessons, Babu Owino was able to help some candidates acquire knowledge despite the epidemic. He tutored both Mathematics and Chemistry lessons to KCPE and KCSE candidates.

“The main aim of why I am doing this is so that I can motivate our candidates to pass the examinations. Because if I came from Nyalenda slums selling chang'aa, then you as a candidate can also make it,” the MP asserted in the beginning of a lesson.

When he conducted the online lessons in the 2022, he had promised to start moving to various areas of the nation from January 2023.Owino indicated that he would deal with students from grade 4 to grade 6 in the primary school level.

“We will be handing class 4 to class 8 that is grade 4 to grade 6,” he said.

Following the successful run of the online classes in 2022 and 2020, Kenyans are looking forward to his new ideas in 2025.They flooded on the comment section cheering him on.

Muema Steve on Facebook wrote, “To all the candidates, take notes from Professor Babu and his mathematical magic. The man can probably solve your life problems with an equation. He’s proof that numbers don’t lie and neither will your exam results when they decide your future!”

Another, Vinnie joked, “I prefer Oscar Sudi to take us through English.” User Albert Omuko added, “Hon. Babu dispensing knowledge generously for free.”
