Gospel singer Kambua’s firstborn son Nathaniel just turned four years old. Marking her child’s special day, the former media personality took to social media to share her experience being his mother for the past four years.

Describing her son as a warrior and joy bringer, the singer admitted that Nathaniel has taught her so much about life and God.

“1…2…3…4 FOUR years my big boy! Happy birthday Nathaniel! My warrior baby, my joy bringer, tomato slayer, and president of kosokoso! My son. You’ve taught me so much, about God, and life… your very existence is proof that what God cannot do, does not exist!” she said.

Kambua went on to commit her son to God asking Him to favour and protect his life.

“I love you my boy. I love your songs, how you randomly break into dance, just like my papa, who now rests. God protect you. God keep you. God favour you. God show you his goodness, all the days of your life! I love you Papi! Happy birthday,” she added.

Kambua and her husband Jackson Mathu were blessed with their first child back in 2019 after close to seven years of trying for a child.

Announcing the news to her fans, Kambua admitted that she had mixed feelings when she first found out she was expectant.

“I had a mixture of happiness and fear because I was anxious since being pregnant is one thing and carrying it is another thing. I then decided to keep away from social media for a while as it was a sacred time for me. By the time baby came, I knew I could not be distracted. I appreciate that people around me kept it under wraps,” she said.

Not long after her first son’s arrival, the couple was blessed with yet another bundle of joy, Malachi Manundu Muthiga, who unfortunately passed away due to birth-related complications.

“What a privilege it has been carrying a life yet again. My little baby boy Malachi made a grand entrance into the world a few days ago. He was everything we hoped for, and more, much more. Perfect in every way. Malachi knew how much he was loved, and so he did all he could to stay with us. With the help of a most dedicated team of doctors & nurses, our little baby fought, until Jesus healed him by taking him to Himself. Malachi is now free from pain, and any worldy care,” she wrote in part.

Welcoming daughter

The bubbly social media sensation surprised her fans in 2022 by announcing she had welcomed a baby girl, Nathalie Nyacira Muthiga Mathu.

“Nathalie Nyacira Muthiga Mathu. Most beautiful little girl I have laid my eyes on, with a gentle spirit to match. The last couple of months have been so precious with you, my rainbow. It is truly an honor being your mama,” she captioned alongside a video collage.
