Kakamega man claims he is 'God' days after Busia woman said she is Virgin Mary

Alfred Ndeta, a man from Kakamega County, has declared himself to be ‘third God’, just days after Judith Nafula from Busia County asserted she is the biblical Virgin Mary.

Ndeta, made his declaration in a series of interviews, claiming to have descended to earth in 1987 with a divine mission to save mankind.

He narrated how he found himself in Nairobi with no recollection of his origins.

While in a deep sleep, he heard a strange voice claiming to be the Holy Spirit.

The voice commanded them to travel from Nairobi to a place referred to as "heaven" (Shibuli), adopting a cheetah-like form.

Upon arriving, he began constructing his envisioned heaven, following the mysterious directive.

He now claims he is still building his heaven which includes three houses which will spell ‘God’ and now he is appealing to the government to help him finish constructing the houses so that he can be able to ‘forgive nations.’

Amongst many other controversial statements that he made, Ndeta also told how he vividly remembers August 22nd, 1988, as the day he sent Satan to hell.

His claims are not anything new in Kenya. A couple of days earlier, Judith Nafula from Busia County boldly stated she is Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.

Nafula described a divine encounter where a voice from above identified her as Mary, leading her to spend two months on a hill where she claims the moon revealed visions to her.

According to report, Nafula left the Catholic Church because she believes God chose her to be Jesus's mother. She says a bright light came down from the sky and spoke to her.

The voice told her it was Christ, sent by God the Father to find Mother Mary. When she said she didn't know who Mother Mary was, the voice said she was the chosen one.

It explained that this was something that had been kept secret, but now was the right time for her to know who she really was.

Nafula also said she once spent two months sleeping on a mountain, where she was told to bring messages to the people of Kenya.

Her declarations have similarly drawn attention and disbelief from her community.

A while back, Eliud Wekesa, known as Yesu wa Tongaren, also made headlines as he claimed to be a divine figure.

When Ndeta was probed whether he knew Wekesa, he asserted that he was his father, since he is 'God' and Wekesa is 'Jesus'.
