A day after content creator Crazy Kennar put up a post on depression, his management has assured his fans that he is alright and working on more juicy projects.

Speaking to Standard Entertainment, Kennar’s management said netizens had overreacted to the comedian’s post and clarified that it was part of his campaign in the fight against depression.

“Kennar is okay and we thank all those who reached out and sent messages of encouragement. His post on depression elicited a lot of reactions but we would like to inform his fans that it is part of his campaign to fight against depression.

“They should buckle up for more engaging and relatable content in the coming days,” said his manager Edwin.

On the cast mates who unfollowed Kennar, Edu said it was true that some of the people who worked closely with the content creator had unfollowed him but did not want to comment on the matter further.

Of late, speculation has been rife that Kennar and his mates Stanley Omondi and Useful Idioty were at loggerheads but in previous interviews they both clarified that they left ‘Tale of Crazy Kennar’ to focus on individual projects.

Stano said he likes to be behind the camera and admitted they held difficult conversations before going separate ways.

"I am a cinematographer, actor, and entertainer. I do well when I am behind the camera, so for the team, I decided I was going to entirely be behind the camera. This was a conversation I had to have with Kennar for me to leave and build my own brand," he stated.

Omondi also highlighted the fact that Kennar has consistently been by his side, providing support, and emphasized that he would always reciprocate that loyalty.

He urged those who were spreading false information and attempting to undermine Kennar to cease their actions, calling for an end to the propagation of such damaging rumors.

Bushra, Yvonne Khisa and Shiru are yet to publicly comment on the matter.
