Moya David needs no introduction to the masses at the moment on these streets. Taking a walk around the social media alleys you might bump into him doing his thing.

The dancer being the TikToker with the most-followed account in Kenya has become a household name. He has a total of over 3.5 million followers on TikTok.

His videos, mostly where he surprises people on streets, markets, homes, and even restaurants before he spreads cheer by entertaining people by dancing for them amassing millions of views in a short span and has seen him evolve into a darling of many, especially ladies.

“I use my art to change the world, spreading hope, spreading life cause the world needs that and that is enough for me,” he says.

He has been in this trade for ten years now. But it all started as a prankster where he would ambush unsuspecting people while draped in a Taekwondo outfit and pretend I wanted to fight them.

This technique mostly appealed to men and he wanted to do something for the ladies as well. he started from the bottom literally. “I never knew this craft would pay but at one point I surprised a fruit vendor. I didn’t do it for pay but she genuinely appreciated my effort and paid me with one mango.  Her appreciation was genuine and I really felt it. The video got 10 million views in three days,” he says this was the first time he started surprising ladies and he hasn’t looked back since then.

The charming content creator opines that it hasn’t been an easy journey up the ladder but has maintained his cool all through. From being paid with a mango to working with big brands he has seen it all and believes consistency is key.
