How security guard eloped with campus girl

A Nairobi woman has moved to court to sue her supposed son-in-law aged 29, after he threatened to cut her into pieces following allegations that he eloped with her 18-year-old daughter who was expected to join university.

Suleiman Nyongesa is accused of issuing death threats to Ms. Catherine Mueni in Mukuru kwa Reuben Slums in Nairobi on July 7.
 In the charge sheet, the accused person uttered “toka hapa ama nikukatekate into pieces” words directed to Mueni while holding a panga – without lawful excuse.

Before the incident, Mueni decided to enroll her daughter in computer studies while awaiting her university entry this coming intake. So she brought her to the city.

And while at it, the teen met and allegedly fell in love with Nyongesa who works as a security guard. He is then said to have taken her to his rural home in Kakamega County.

Following rumours that her daughter was in Western, a devastated Mueni went looking for her at the accused person’s home where she found her daughter and brought her to Nairobi the unfortunate happened a few days where her daughter fled home to go live with Nyongesa.

On the material day, Mueni had gone to Nyongesa’s house after she got wind that her teen daughter had eloped with Nyongesa again and they were living together at a newly rented house in Nairobi’s Pipeline area.

This prompted the complainant to go fetch her daughter from the suspect’s house who angrily alleged to have threatened to kill her by cutting her into pieces. This made Mueni report the matter to the police and investigations started leading to the arrest of Nyongesa. He pleaded not guilty before Chief Magistrate Francis Kyambia.
